Joe – Founder
Joe is a college junior originally from Los Angeles currently suffering in the brutal weathers of Chicago. When not on Vballworld, he is in the gym working out to Justin Bieber or doing Excel spreadsheets in the school library. Outside of volleyball, Joe loves watching Disney music videos on Youtube and playing the piano and the drums. His favorite song to play on the piano is Lollipop by Lil’ Wayne and his greatest weakness is cute pictures of animals and babies. And Vballworld.
Vivek – Head Writer
Vivek is a soon to be college graduate and head-writer for Vballworld. When he isn’t working on the latest rant for the blog, you can probably find him playing pick-up basketball at the local gym or weaving through traffic in Berkeley, CA on his totally non-hipster 21 speed mountain bike. After several years of playing volleyball as an outside hitter and a libero, Vivek has recently gotten into coaching the game that we all love. If it wasn’t already clear by now, he has an unhealthy obsession with sports. He also loves rock n’ roll music and afternoon naps.
John – VP of Social Media
John is a college sophomore at Northwestern University. John is a native Chicagoan and loves that he gets to remain near the city for his college career. When he isn’t updating Vballworld’s social media with the latest developments, John is making people laugh with his jokes and antics. Also an avid soccer fan and player, you can usually find John watching his beloved Manchester United or playing FIFA. After enjoying a brief high school stint as a middle blocker, John was excited to get back to covering the sport that has always held a special spot in his heart. His only weaknesses? Country music and lazy Saturdays.
